Memories in Lichen
Memories in Lichen is a lightweight chemise inspired by my favorite things about summer — afternoon teas, languid evenings spent outside enjoying gentle breezes and the play of light on my father’s garden, reading romantic novels, and, of course, the quintessentially English summer muslin worn by many a Jane Austen heroine. The delicate floral motifs and soft stripes of these “wallpaper prints” are echoed in the lace of the skirt and sleeves; accents in the form of a waist tie, sleeve ruffles and a ruffle under the skirt add a sense of romance that is elegant without being fussy.
